Liability Waiver *

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Morning Mile Madness one-mile race (the “Event”), I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian if under 18), acknowledge and agree to the following: Assumption of Risk I understand that participation in a running event involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my participation. Release and Waiver of Liability I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the event organizers, race directors, sponsors, volunteers, officials, the City of Baltimore, property owners, and all other persons or entities associated with the Event (“Releasees”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action whatsoever arising from or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in the Event. Medical Treatment I authorize Event officials to secure emergency medical treatment for me if necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any costs related to such treatment. Fitness to Participate I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. Photography and Media Release I grant permission to the Event organizers and their agents to use any photographs, video, or other media of me taken during the Event for promotional purposes without compensation. Minors If the participant is under 18, this release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. The undersigned parent or guardian agrees to be bound by the terms of this release and waives all claims on behalf of the minor. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this document carefully, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
